Join me for a week of divine feminine connection on the idyllic island of Holbox, Mexico, April 23-29, 2017.
Together, we’ll breathe, connect, reflect and… DANCE.
Supported by Mother Nature, ancient yogic teachings and divine feminine connection, we’ll return to the Truth of who we really are.
There is nothing to become and everything to remember.
The location of the retreat is the island of Holbox (pronounced hol-bosh), a spectacular nature reserve off Mexico’s Yucatan peninsular. It is a three hour journey from Cancun international airport, via bus and ferry.
Villas Flamingos is a beach front boutique property with luxurious amenities, designed in a rustic style. A large pool, two restaurants, spacious yoga shala, elegant rooms, massage salons and ‘those famous hammocks’ are waiting to embrace you.
The atmosphere of Holbox is muy tranquilo – there are no paved roads and very few vehicles on the island – which makes it the perfect place to unplug and retreat from the pressures of every day life.
I’m Sarah Chamberlain, an Australian writer, dancer and Kundalini yoga teacher based in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
My path has led me through addiction, disconnection and shame into liberation and Love. I share the challenges and victories of my journey to encourage you on your own.
Remember Her retreats are created from my heart to include women of all ages, backgrounds and experience. The connection we form with each other in this sacred space continues long beyond our week together.
About the practices:
Kundalini yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, is an ancient technology of human awareness adapted for our modern times.
Breath, movement and sacred sound (mantra) are the keys which allow us access to our inner power, liberating us from the conditioning of the mind which keeps us separated from our True Self.
Divine Dance is a fun, intuitive movement practice set to uplifting music in which we journey beyond self-judgement and shame to embrace the truth of who we really are – dynamic, unique and yes, divine.
No prior yoga or dance experience is required or expected for this retreat. It is a safe and open space in which to try new things.
